Summer 2027 Internship: Accounts Payable

The Accounts Payable Intern will be work directly on active real-world projects and initiatives. The goal is to immerse the individual into a variety of functions thus to educate and empower the individual for further education.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Strategic Finance & Capital Markets Intern: • Review, validate and process vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness • Assist with invoice coding and routing approvals in accordance with company policies • Monitor AP workflows • Research and resolve discrepancies, payment issues, and inquiries • Assist with month-end closing activities • Partner with internal stakeholders on projects and initiatives BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, STEM, Data Science, Human Resources, or a related field.

• Must be a US Citizen • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting. • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous internship or co-op experience in construction, finance, technology, HR, facilities engineering, or related industries.

• Current full-time enrollment in one of QTS’s partner institutions (listed below) or a Blackstone Launchpad affiliate school: • Auburn University • Kansas State University • Georgia State University • Southern Adventist University • Texas A&M University • University of Kansas • Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, etc. • Involvement in community activities outside of schoolwork (athletics, clubs, volunteering, part-time employment).
