Department Overview Equity Research plays a critical role in helping clients make informed investment decisions by providing independent analysis of publicly traded companies and industries.

The team conducts   in depth   financial modeling, evaluates market trends, develops investment recommendations, and publishes research used by institutional and individual investors.

Interns gain hands on experience analyzing companies, building financial models, and supporting real world research projects alongside experienced analysts.

With a collaborative culture that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and continuous learning, Equity Research offers students a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of the financial markets while developing skills that are highly valued across the investment industry Job Summary Under general supervision, Equity Research summer interns use skills gained through training,   education   and experience to   assist   with specific projects within an assigned functional area.

In order to   gain broad exposure, our interns will have the opportunity to work with multiple teams on projects that include preparing Initiations of Coverage, building financial models, writing earnings notes, and completing industry whitepapers.

The intern is expected to use some judgment to adapt procedures,   processes   and techniques to apply to more complex assignments. Routine contact with senior analysts and research associates will further enhance the intern’s professional development.

Start Date:   Wednesday ,   June   2 , 202 7 End Date:   Friday,   August   13 , 202 7 Work Schedule:   Monday through Friday, up to   40   hours   per   week.

Duties and Responsibilities • Assist   with company, industry, and market research projects to support investment recommendations. • Analyze financial statements and metrics to develop a fundamental understanding of publicly traded companies.

• Support the development of financial models used for forecasting, valuation analysis, and investment research. • Conduct research on market trends, industry developments, and economic events.

• Collaborate with others to prepare reports, presentations, and other research materials. • Apply accounting, finance, and equity valuation concepts to evaluate investment opportunities and   communicate findings   effectively.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of – • Fundamentals of accounting, finance, and equity valuation methodologies.

• Financial statement analysis and interpretation. • Financial markets, equity securities, and key market drivers. • Basic concepts, practices, and procedures of a professional office environment and the Equity Research function.

Skill in – • Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Research, data gathering, and analytical problem solving. • Written and verbal communication, including the ability to summarize information clearly and effectively.

Ability to – • Analyze financial statements,   identify   trends, and explain key variances. • Conduct   company , industry, and market research using available data sources and online research tools.

• Prepare concise summaries of conference calls, research findings, and market developments. • Create charts, graphs, and presentation materials to support research reports and recommendations.

• Manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a   fast paced   environment. • Work independently while collaborating effectively with analysts, associates, and team members.

• Build and   maintain   professional working relationships while demonstrating strong attention to detail and   a high level   of professionalism . Educational/ Previous   Experience Requirements • Junior standing   ( December 202 7 -May 202 8   graduates) pursuing a bachelor’s   or master’s   degree in finance,   accounting, Economics, data   analytics   or related field   with a 3.

5 cumulative GPA or higher. • Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources. • Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD).
