Job Description Internships within Lifecycle Services (LCS) provide unique opportunities to develop your engineering, analytical, and customer-centric skills.
As a Field Service Intern you will... • Travel to customer sites with a Field Service Engineer to understand in person support interactions with Rockwell Automation Customers.
• Support our customers and field personnel with troubleshooting and resolving customer issues in person. • Experience the responsibilities of a Field Support Engineer in Motions & Controls to learn how they approach troubleshooting in their respective area of work.
• Manage customer interactions by setting expectations, capturing the issue, resolution and steps taken to troubleshoot, and following up with customers in a timely manner.
The Essentials - You Will Have: • Active enrollment in a four year or advanced engineering degree program at an accredited university • Legal authorization to work in the U.
S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future • Flexibility on location and travel. This role will be based out of a field office and will travel frequently to customer sites.
