Job Description Are you passionate about Artificial Intelligence, embedded systems, and solving real-world engineering challenges? As an AI & Embedded Engineering Intern , you will work with a team of experienced engineers to explore innovative solutions that improve engineering productivity, product quality, and the development of industrial automation products.

You will have the opportunity to apply AI technologies, software engineering, and embedded systems knowledge to address real business and engineering challenges faced by global engineering teams.

You will take ownership of a meaningful project from concept to implementation, developing solutions such as AI-powered engineering assistants, intelligent automation tools, test automation platforms, or data-driven engineering insights.

Along the way, you will gain hands-on experience in software and embedded systems development, learning how AI can be applied to accelerate product development and improve engineering effectiveness.

In addition to innovation projects, you will gain hands-on experience in embedded software development activities, including designing, developing, testing, debugging, and validating software solutions.

You will work with technologies such as Python, C/C++, embedded platforms, automation frameworks, and modern AI tools while learning how industrial automation products are developed in a global engineering organization.

You will collaborate closely with embedded software engineers, system engineers, test engineers, and technical leaders across multiple regions. Through mentorship and participation in real product development activities, you will gain exposure to industry best practices, Agile development methodologies, enterprise-scale engineering tools, and cross-functional collaboration within a multinational environment.

Qualifications Education • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:Computer EngineeringComputer ScienceEmbedded SystemsElectrical & Electronic EngineeringArtificial IntelligenceData ScienceRobotics or related engineering disciplines Technical Skills Experience in the following areas is advantageous but not required: • Programming in Python, C, C++, or similar languages • Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning concepts • Software development and automation • Embedded systems and microcontrollers • Data analytics and visualization • Cloud technologies, APIs, or software integration Ability and Attitude • Strong interest in AI, embedded technology, and innovation • Good analytical and problem-solving skills • Curious mindset with a willingness to learn and explore new technologies • Ability to take initiative and work independently while collaborating effectively within a team • Creative thinker who enjoys tackling complex challenges • Good communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment • Passion for continuous learning and technology-driven innovation Rockwell Automation’s hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
