We are seeking a highly motivated  Spring Co-op  to join our Gene Therapy Rare Disease team. The Intern will support the development and execution of the Clinical Development Plan (CDP) within the Gene Therapy Rare Disease portfolio, operating under the supervision of CRD/GPH leadership.

Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives. Main Responsibilities • Supporting activities related to clinical study design. • Contributing to the development and maintenance of the Target Product Profile (TPP).

• Assisting in the formulation and implementation of the clinical development strategy. • Supporting the preparation of clinical trial protocols and protocol amendments.

• Contributing to scientific communications and clinical documentation. • Supporting interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) as required. • Participating in cross-functional team meetings, including Global Project Team (GPT), Clinical, Regulatory, and other relevant functions.

About You Basic Qualifications: • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacy, or related life sciences fields.

• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.

Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the Internal requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship. • Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.

Preferred Qualifications: • ​Target Product Profile (TPP) formulation and maintenance • Clinical study design • Protocol and protocol amendment preparation • Scientific communications and clinical documentation • Gene therapy knowledge • Rare disease research understanding • Preclinical research fundamentals • Manufacturing processes (basic understanding) • Biomedical research methodology • Regulatory affairs (foundational knowledge) • Life sciences principles, Clinical Development Plan (CDP) development and execution.

​​ Compensation The salary range for this position is  $27.00 -$35.00 hourly. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
