Overview We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Apprentice to support the Record-to-Report (R2R) team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, taxation support, and ERP systems within a global finance environment.
Responsibilities • Assist the team with month-end close activities. • Fixed asset accounting support and asset creation. • Accrual and prepayment schedule preparation.
• Inventory and purchase order accrual reconciliations. • Bank Reconciliations. • Balance sheet reconciliations. • Preparation of supporting schedules and reports.
• Support the preparation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting packs. • Assist in gathering and validating data for monthly variance analysis.
• Assist in reconciling tax-related balances between local accounting records and global reporting requirements. • Help maintain accounting records, trackers, and supporting documentation accurately and on time.
• Support the creation, update, and maintenance of process documentation and desktop procedures. • Follow established finance policies, procedures, controls, and standard operating guidelines.
• Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and support implementation initiatives. • Provide documentation and data support during internal and external audit activities.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Qualifications • Good attention to detail, strong analytical skills.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills. • Awareness & Knowledge on Financial Accounting. • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong ownership mindsetx. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
