Embedded Software Engineering Intern - The Toro Company

The 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027 . Candidates must be available to start on May 17 and participate through the duration of the program.

We market and sell TTC products worldwide through a network of distributors, dealers, mass retailers, hardware retailers, equipment rental center and home centers—as well as online direct to end users.

What Will You Do? To grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be working on one or more projects that work directly with our Commercial Products software engineering team.

You will have a mentor to help guide your project and help you find the resources you need. The project(s) vary but are often related to: • Working directly with our project teams to develop and test our products • Building/Supporting in-house tools for the development team • Data analysis of collected field data What Do You Need?

We require interns to be enrolled in an educational program during the duration of the internship program. • Majoring in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science – focusing on embedded systems.

We prefer you to have a minimum 3.2 GPA. • At a minimum, you must be entering your sophomore year of college. • Programming Experience in C or C# preferred.

Python, C++, Visual C programming, JSON, and experience with CAN bus protocol are all beneficial. • Our best interns have strong communication skills, solve challenging problems, and a positive attitude.
