  • Previous internship, coursework, or project experience in Finance, Accounting, Costing, or Manufacturing Finance.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar financial platforms.
  • Interest in manufacturing operations, cost management, and financial analysis.

JOB PURPOSE This role exists to support the Finance team in ensuring accurate cost tracking, financial reporting, and cost control across manufacturing operations.

The Cost Controller Intern will contribute to maintaining financial integrity by analyzing production costs, supporting month-end activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal control requirements.

Through this role, you will gain valuable exposure to factory finance operations while helping drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making.

Because here, we don’t just hire for jobs. We invite you to be part of something bigger. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Support the tracking, monitoring, and analysis of production costs, including labor, overhead, materials, and other manufacturing expenses.

• Assist in identifying cost variances and investigating discrepancies to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting. • Prepare regular financial reports and performance analysis to support business and operational decision-making.

• Maintain and update product pricing and cost information within relevant financial systems. • Process and post cycle count adjustment documents to ensure inventory records remain accurate and up to date.

• Support month-end closing activities, including the preparation and posting of journal entries. • Assist in reconciling financial and operational data to ensure reporting accuracy.

• Participate in cost optimization initiatives by analyzing trends and highlighting areas for improvement. • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and financial governance requirements.

• Support Internal Controls submissions and assist with documentation required for audit and compliance purposes. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. • Good understanding of basic accounting and financial principles.

• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Previous internship, coursework, or project experience in Finance, Accounting, Costing, or Manufacturing Finance.

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar financial platforms. • Interest in manufacturing operations, cost management, and financial analysis.
