Software Engineer - ServiceNow Internship Unum Ireland - 2027 IT Internship Program Software Engineer Intern Summary Software Engineers are responsible for the building and or configuration of software solutions within their business portfolio.

They ensure software is delivered to high quality standards by collaborating with their agile team members and by leveraging unit testing and continuous integration.

They participate in the estimation of work required to deliver software features. Software Engineer – Intern Summary – CTO – Platform Services - ServiceNow Team Our ServiceNow team delivers enterprise software solutions within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

You'll contribute to the development, testing, and release of solutions on our ServiceNow platform, specifically in the ITIL and Onboarding areas, while exploring how AI can enhance software engineering, automation, and delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain solutions across our platform. • Support software releases, testing, and production readiness. • Collaborate with engineers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders in an Agile team.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives. • Leverage AI tools to improve development efficiency, software quality, and team productivity.

• Manage code and development assets using GitHub and CI/CD tooling. Skills & Experience Required • Knowledge of programming and software development concepts • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Understanding of Agile delivery practices. • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn. Desirable • Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, or cloud technologies.

• Knowledge of SAFe and DevOps practices. • Interest in AI-assisted software engineering and automation. What You'll Gain • Real-world experience delivering enterprise software releases.
