What you'll own
- You'll collaborate with architects, engineers, product teams, and technology leaders to understand how technology strategy translates into real-world business outcomes.
- You'll gain exposure to a wide range of technologies, platforms, and business functions while developing a deeper understanding of how innovation, modernization, security, data, and cloud technologies come together to create business value.
- Support the Enterprise Architecture team in documenting current-state and future-state architecture views, including business capabilities, applications, integrations, data flows, technology platforms, and key dependencies.
- Assist with research, analysis, and documentation of emerging technologies, industry trends, architecture practices, and vendor capabilities that may support DigiTech and US Foods business priorities.
Requirements and eligibility
- US Foods internships are full-time paid positions (40 hours per week from June - August) with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position post-graduation dependent on availability and overall performance.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or technical program, preferably pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Typically, students currently between their Junior and Senior years or between their 1st and 2nd years of graduate school will be considered for internships
- Authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred, not required
- For qualified students whose permanent home of record is located outside 50 miles from US Foods Corporate HQ, a sign-on bonus will be offered to partially offset housing costs for the summer.
