Purchasing Trainee/Apprentice/VIE

We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies. Job Summary** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Purchasing Trainee/Apprentice/VIE.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement within a global automotive supplier, supporting purchasing activities and learning key processes.

Job Responsibilities** * Assist the purchasing team with daily administrative tasks, including data entry, document management, and communication with suppliers.

* Support the preparation and analysis of RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and tenders. * Participate in supplier selection processes and negotiations. * Monitor supplier performance and contribute to supplier relationship management.

* Help maintain accurate purchasing records and databases. * Learn and apply Valeo's purchasing policies, procedures, and tools. * Support cost reduction initiatives and value analysis projects.

* Collaborate with internal departments such as logistics, quality, and engineering. * Prepare reports and presentations related to purchasing activities.

Job Qualifications** * Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn. * Fluency in English is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.

* Prior internship or work experience in purchasing or a manufacturing environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
