- Conduct CFD and physical model studies related to sediment transport, pump station hydraulics, water supply, and treatment facilities, spillways, and other civil hydraulic structures
- Conduct a variety of testing using physical models or 1:1 component test loops
- Collect data including flow velocities, turbidity, suspended sediment concentration, dynamic and static pressure, and temperature
- Conduct engineering calculations, model component design, operation and testing of the model, and data acquisition and analysis
Preferred, not required
- Basic construction and machining skills is a plus
- Previous internship/co-op experience is a plus
