The position

• Support engineering teams with civil and structural plans, details and recommendations for various projects.
• Assist with the analysis and design of concrete, steel and timber structures, including bridges and retaining walls.
• Assist with the design of foundations, slabs, framing and piling systems under experienced engineers.
• Review project requirements, site conditions and applicable design standards.
• Participate in field visits, site investigations and project meetings.
• Support plan revisions, contractor questions and other project delivery activities.
• Shadow experienced engineers and project managers to gain hands-on experience.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Interest in structural, transportation and heavy-civil engineering.
• Self-starter and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
