About our Teams: Transportation - The Transportation team implements business processes and improvement strategies to stay current on supply chain and replenishment processes and procedures.

About Our Program: Each summer, we select the best and brightest to look under the hood of the world’s largest retailer at our Walmart across multiple locations.

During the 11-week program, our interns work directly with teams who are changing the way the world shops. This is the beginning of what could be an exciting career with Walmart!

As a Logistics Load Manager Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in the operation of multiple departments and performing various job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as needed.

How you’ll spend your day as a Load Logistics Manager Intern… • Communicate efficiently with customers, suppliers, and associates both verbally and in writing.

• Maintain quality and safety standards by training associates on logistics and company policies. • Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.

• Dispatch drivers while complying with Department of Transportation regulations. • Identify and resolve concerns of associates, customers, and suppliers.
