What you'll do
- Communications: Support planning for, creation & launch of Community Impact Report, collect testimonials from employees, community members & customers, develop collateral for internal & external audiences.
- Portfolio: Maintain records for partner organizations including contact info, board rep (if applicable), collateral needed, upcoming events.
- Volunteerism & Events: Support event creation & communication, utilize volunteer software system to manage events & pull reports, train others on using volunteer platform. Attend events as needed.
- Metrics & Market Analysis: Gather partner metrics, collect, analyze and monitor internal data collection (volunteer hours, employees on nonprofit boards, financial data).
- Administrative: Assist with invoice processing, Employee Match reporting and other tasks as needed.
- Participate in intern program activities, events, and development opportunities with your cohort.

- Concentrations in Communications, Psychology, Sociology, Business Administration, or related field with at least one Accounting class.

Community impact intern job responsibilities

- The 2027 program will run for 12 weeks from May through August.
- 40 hours/week, Paid summer internship.
- Participate in intern program activities, events, and development opportunities with your cohort.
Compensation
- The hourly rate for this role is $19.00/hour.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a U.S. college or university, with preference for students entering their junior or senior year.
- Concentrations in Communications, Psychology, Sociology, Business Administration, or related field with at least one Accounting class.
