Role overview
What you'll own
- Develop/review/revise compliance plans that demonstrate Life Safety code requirements are being met.
- Develop/review/revise calculations by executing computer codes and models to support Fire Protection evaluations.
- Develop/review/revise/implement safety and compliance programs and procedures.
- Participate in Process Hazards Analysis activities with multidiscipline teams to identify potential criticality, radiological, chemical, and fire/explosion hazards to support the Integrated Safety Analysis (ISA) process.
Requirements and eligibility
- Current enrollment in — or recent completion of — a degree in fire protection engineering, fire science, civil engineering, mechanical engineering or a closely related field from an ABET-accredited college or university.

- A reasonable estimate for this position at the level of experience required is:
- $25/hour for undergrad; $40/hour for graduate
