What you'll own

  • For our team of researchers and engineers, we are looking for a student to support our concept work on AI-driven solutions for future medical applications in neuroscience and healthcare.
  • Development and integration of state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms for future ophthalmic and other medical devices
  • Gain hands-on experience with multiple neural signal modalities
  • Analyze, research, test, and implement core functions for multimodal data from the fields of neuroscience and healthcare

Requirements and eligibility

  • A bachelor’s degree and current enrollment in a master’s program in computer science, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, mechanical engineering, or a related field with a focus on machine learning

Preferred, not required

  • Advanced programming experience in Python, ideally prior experience in C/C++
  • expertise in neuroscience and electrophysiological data analysis
  • Preferably experience in software development with Microsoft Azure

Your Role For our team of researchers and engineers, we are looking for a student to support our concept work on AI-driven solutions for future medical applications in neuroscience and healthcare.

• Development and integration of state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms for future ophthalmic and other medical devices • Gain hands-on experience with multiple neural signal modalities • Analyze, research, test, and implement core functions for multimodal data from the fields of neuroscience and healthcare • Search for solutions in scientific literature and patent documents, and tailor these solutions to our needs • Conduct and evaluate experiments on large scale real-world datasets We offer • An agile work environment with the possibility to work on various tasks for frontier research on medical applications • A dynamic, motivated, diverse team with a large and active student community • A modern office culture mixed with flexible working hours • Hands-on experience in a large, interdisciplinary research environment • Deep insights into the exciting practical work of development, ranging from conceptual work for low-TRL proof-of-concepts to early product development Your Profile • A bachelor’s degree and current enrollment in a master’s program in computer science, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, mechanical engineering, or a related field with a focus on machine learning • Advanced programming experience in Python, ideally prior experience in C/C++ • Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch • Ideally, expertise in neuroscience and electrophysiological data analysis • Preferably experience in software development with Microsoft Azure • Excellent organization, problem-solving & communication skills (English and/or German) • A passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies as well as motivation to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams Sounds exciting?
