  • Combine your studies with hands-on experience as an intern or working student to support applied research and prototyping in medical soft-body simulation for six months or longer
  • Implement and validate soft-tissue deformation models using real patient data to build and validate simulation pipelines.
  • Collaborate with research engineers and scientists, contribute to reusable tooling in Python, and translate research findings into practical applications

  • Enrolled in a Master’s Program in Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of computational modeling methods
  • Solid understanding of geometry processing and mesh data structures
  • You are curious, proactive, and collaborative, and you enjoy tackling challenging research-to-product problems.

Nice to have

  • Programming skills in Python; C++ is a plus
  • Good communication skills in English; German is a plus
  • Experience with simulation software such as Ansys, COMSOL, or Abaqus
  • Project or coursework experience in biomechanical modeling, soft-body simulation, or surgical simulation
