What you'll do

  • Assist with new hire onboarding end-to-end, including paperwork, welcome materials, orientation scheduling, and first-week check-ins
  • Help build and refine onboarding resources (guides, checklists, welcome kits) to create a smoother experience for new employees
  • Support employee engagement by helping plan and execute activities, events, and recognition programs
  • Assist with gathering and analyzing employee feedback (surveys, pulse checks) to help identify ways to improve the employee experience
  • Draft and distribute internal communications, including company announcements, newsletters, and policy updates
  • Help create and update POps templates, process documents, and internal resource pages

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets especially)
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn

About the role

We’re looking for a People Operations Intern to join our team during an exciting phase of growth. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to core People Operations function and mentorship from experienced HR professionals. You’ll receive insight into onboarding, employee relations, internal communications, and HR systems.

Through this role, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to real onboarding and engagement projects that impact the employee experience.

What you’ll do

  • Help build and refine onboarding resources (guides, checklists, welcome kits) to create a smoother experience for new employees
  • Support employee engagement by helping plan and execute activities, events, and recognition programs
  • Assist with gathering and analyzing employee feedback (surveys, pulse checks) to help identify ways to improve the employee experience
  • Draft and distribute internal communications, including company announcements, newsletters, and policy updates
  • Help create and update POps templates, process documents, and internal resource pages
  • Lead or contribute to special projects related to culture-building, process improvement, development, etc.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices or compliance topics as needed
  • Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and confidentiality

Who You Are

Required qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
