Job Description Summer 2027 Internship Duration: Monday, May 17th- August 20th, 2027 Location: Austin, TX What You Can Expect: Meaningful Project Work: Every Intern is assigned a project that delivers value to the business.
Lean Thinking: Interns are expected to apply Lean principles and continuous improvement thinking throughout their project work; Lean training and resources will be provided.
Our Goal is to provide interns with meaningful, hands-on experiences that contribute to business objectives while supporting their professional development Under close supervision, responsible for supporting project planning and execution within defined parameters on smaller or less complex projects.
The Project Manager I follows established processes while developing foundational project management skills. Duties and Responsibilities The statements below describe the essential duties of the person or persons assigned to this job.
They are not intended as an exhaustive list of all job duties and responsibilities. Assist in budget monitoring and cost tracking. Communicate project status updates to immediate manager and project team.
Follow company policies and established project management methodologies. Help coordinate resource assignments and monitor utilization. Identify and report potential risks for review by senior staff.
Maintain accurate documentation including project logs and records. Support schedule management by tracking milestones and updating schedules. Assist in developing detailed project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with project management tools (e.
g., Microsoft Project, Trello). Strong organizational and time management skills. Basic understanding of project management principles and terminology.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure) Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field No experience necessary.
