As a Test Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers developing and optimizing test solutions for advanced application processors and SoC products.

You will gain hands-on experience with new product introduction (NPI), silicon characterization, generative AI tools, and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) while contributing to real engineering projects.

Job Summary: Develop test solutions for advanced SoC devices using Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Assist with silicon characterization, validation, and debug activities Develop scripts and tools to improve engineering productivity and test efficiency Analyze test data to identify trends, yield opportunities, and quality issues Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, Validation, Quality, and Manufacturing teams Learning Opportunities: Advanced application processors and SoC products Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Silicon characterization, debug, yield improvement, and data analytics Engineering automation, scripting, and AI-assisted engineering workflows Skills / Requirements: Pursuing a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills Experience with Python, C#, VBA, Linux, generative AI tools or similar technologies Coursework or interest in computer architecture, digital design, verification, and programming In order to be considered for a summer internship with NXP you must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term.
