Requirements and eligibility

  • / Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data analysis, software development, automation, or engineering projects through coursework, internships, or research.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred, not required

  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.

Job Responsibilities Support engineering project planning and execution through data analysis, metrics, and reporting. Develop dashboards, reports, and tools that improve visibility into project status, resource utilization, and engineering performance.

Analyze engineering and project data to identify trends and support effort and resource planning. Assist with data collection, validation, and process improvement activities.

Develop automation solutions and scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual work. Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations teams to deliver data-driven insights.

Maintain documentation, analytics models, and project-related processes. Requirements / Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with data analysis, software development, automation, or engineering projects through coursework, internships, or research.

Familiarity with Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and business processes. In order to be considered for a summer internship with NXP you must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term.
