- Assist with cheque-bounce, payment-default, and recovery matters, including reviewing supporting documents, preparing notice drafts, maintaining records, and tracking deadlines.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal notices, replies, demand letters, undertakings, declarations, affidavits, and other correspondence under supervision.
- Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulations, judgments, and government notifications and prepare research notes.

Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to assist the Legal/Compliance team with day-to-day legal activities, including contract drafting and review, legal research, documentation, cheque-bounce and recovery matters, disputes, notices, compliance, and litigation coordination.
Key Responsibilities * Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, NDAs, MOUs, vendor/customer agreements, service agreements, employment documents, indemnities, settlements, and other legal documents.
* Assist with cheque-bounce, payment-default, and recovery matters, including reviewing supporting documents, preparing notice drafts, maintaining records, and tracking deadlines.
* Assist in drafting and reviewing legal notices, replies, demand letters, undertakings, declarations, affidavits, and other correspondence under supervision.
* Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulations, judgments, and government notifications and prepare research notes. * Support the team in commercial disputes, negotiations, settlements, and conflict-resolution matters.
* Assist with litigation and advocate coordination, including maintaining case files, hearing dates, notices, orders, and litigation trackers. * Assist with legal and regulatory compliance documentation and deadline tracking.
* Support HR/legal matters, including employment agreements, confidentiality documents, policies, notices, and employee-related documentation. * Review and organize lease, property, business, and commercial documentation as required.
* Maintain organized records of contracts, notices, disputes, recovery matters, litigation, settlements, and compliance documents. * Coordinate with HR, Finance, Sales, Procurement, Operations, management, and external advocates for legal requirements.
* Assist in identifying contractual and legal risks and escalate matters requiring senior legal review. * Handle confidential information and ensure all assigned work is completed accurately and within deadlines.

• * Good understanding of legal and commercial documents. • * Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace. • * Ability to maintain confidentiality. • * Willingness to learn and work under supervision.
• Qualifications • * Pursuing LL.B./B.L. or LL.M. • * Prior legal internship experience is an advantage but not mandatory. • * Interest in Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Contracts, Litigation, Recovery, or Compliance preferred.
• Ideal Candidate • A law student who is proactive, detail-oriented, responsible, eager to learn, and interested in gaining practical experience across contracts, disputes, documentation, compliance, and business-related legal matters.
