About the Role As an Actuarial Intern, you will work on projects directly with our actuaries and will have the opportunity to complete and present a self-directed, business-driven individual project to our senior leaders.
Responsibilities vary depending on assigned projects(s) and may include: • Product Development • Actuarial Valuation • Finance • Risk Management Examples of past intern projects include: • Enhancing existing process leveraging tools such as Python, SQL, and PowerBI • Building validation tools to ensure accuracy of actuarial models • Analyzing results and trends given regulatory or product changes Required Qualifications: • Current Junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.

Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
Base Pay Salary The estimated hourly rate for this role is $31.00 per hour. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location.
In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
