2027 Summer News Internship

You will perform general assignment and beat reporting and write in-depth analytical pieces under supervision. You will research and write news stories and features for assigned publication(s), including beat reporting, with supervision.

What you will do: • Hands-On Work Experience – Perform real work on deadline as a member of our team and walk away with a portfolio of clips. • Learn to work with the sense of urgency and accuracy needed in a modern newsroom.

• Receive essential feedback and coaching from a mentor just as invested in your success as you are. • Engage with senior leaders and expert professionals at Bloomberg Industry Group.

• Enjoy Convenient Summer Housing – We offer summer housing through our local universities. • Participate in our charitable activities. You need to have: • Three published news clips.

• Desire to interview industry leaders and policymakers. • Willingness to collaborate with our team of reporters and editors. • At the start of Summer 2027, completed at least three years of an undergraduate program (i.

e., a rising senior), just graduated from your college or university, or be enrolled in a graduate journalism program. • Prior experience in journalism, including campus media.
