Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op Job Description: Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue the mission.

The Role: Our site in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be full-time, 6 months in duration beginning in January.

In this role, you will Help solve manufacturing issues by designing and implementing new equipment and processes.  This role will also be assigned a medium-term project focused on manufacturing improvement in the Co-ops area of expertise or field of study.

This role will also give exposure to systems used in real-life production environments that will help round out the technical training gained by school.

• Support manufacturing process improvements by analyzing production data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to improve operational performance.

• Assist with the design, development, and validation of tooling, fixtures, equipment, and standardized work instructions to support production operations.

• Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support by assisting with production issue resolution, process troubleshooting, documentation updates, and implementation of corrective actions.

What We Seek: • Have a basic understanding of lean manufacturing techniques • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under guidance from experience engineers.

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including spending time on the production floor. Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year: Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering major, Spring 2027 or 2028 Eligibility: • Must be a currently enrolled student • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June • Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program • Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This role requires the ability to work near heavy equipment and to be able to followed required gowning procedures to get into cleanroom environments.
