- Experience in SolidWorks

Role Summary The Engineering Co-op contributes to technical projects and daily operations through design support, analysis, documentation, testing, and project coordination.
The ideal candidate will be an individual who shows interest in learning and innovation and enjoys being challenged. Based on business needs and candidate interests, co -op opportunities may exist within engineering, manufacturing, or operations.
Potential Responsibilities P rovide support of End-User Aftermarket Application Engineering team and local Sales Engineers in various business activities related to mechanical seals, seal support systems, and pumps.
The activities include but not limited to • Acquire basic knowledge of pump and mechanical seal fundamentals to support Flowserve activities. • Support manufacturing team on projects related to cost reduction and process improvement.
• Work with regional operations leadership to develop standardization initiatives. • Research specific equipment information per customer requirements.
• Create technical customer-facing final job reports and as-found condition reports. • Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications • Actively pursuing a degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related curriculum and in good standing.
• Good communication skills • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs. • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a hands-on, fast-paced, team-oriented environment that may include office, laboratory, and manufacturing settings.
