Upbound Group, Inc. is headquartered in Plano, Texas. Practice Area Overview The Technology Business Operations team supports the Technology organization through capital financial management, Project Management, Agile/Scrum delivery, and Resource Management.

You will join Technology during an exciting transformation as we improve how teams plan, fund, resource, and deliver work. Interns will select one primary focus area and work alongside experienced team members on practical projects that can make a meaningful impact.

Potential focus areas include: • Technology Finance & Reporting - Use your finance knowledge to support capital financials and help simplify and automate reporting and insights.

• Jira Automation & Process Improvement - Apply your Jira knowledge to improve workflows, automation, processes, and the overall tool experience. • Project Management & Agile Delivery - Learn how Project Managers and Scrum Masters help teams plan, organize, remove obstacles, and deliver work through hands-on exposure to real Technology initiatives.

What We’re Looking For • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in MIS, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Management, Operations Management, or a related business or technology field.

• Strong academic performance, with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. • For the Finance focus: foundational finance, accounting, or reporting knowledge.

For Jira Automation: hands-on Jira usage and knowledge. For Project Management/Agile: curiosity and a strong willingness to learn. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and organizational skills.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others. • Comfort working with data and technology, with an interest in process improvement and automation; Excel, reporting, data analysis, or automation experience is a plus.

• Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to ask questions, learn quickly, and bring new ideas to the team. Work Location Ability to work in our corporate headquarters in Plano, Texas throughout the entire ten-week summer intern program.
