- Engage with VCA team members and other internal partners to support consulting engagements
- Contribute to activities across the consulting lifecycle and leverage AI tools where appropriate
- Assist with business development through market research and proposal preparation
- Support project implementation and help document best practices for global knowledge sharing

Job description
Visa’s Internship Program provides an immersive, 12-month journey where you’ll work on impactful projects that drive Visa’s mission forward. As a Visa intern, you’ll build valuable connections across the organization, sharpen your communication and business acumen, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, global environment.
Throughout the program, you’ll have exclusive access to interactive workshops and learning sessions designed to deepen your expertise, expand your industry knowledge, and elevate your professional skillset. You won’t just be learning, you’ll be contributing, collaborating, and innovating every step of the way.
The experience culminates in an exciting final presentation, where you’ll showcase your project achievements, share key insights, and present your recommendations to Visa’s leaders and stakeholders. Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa’s advisory and consulting organization. It helps banks, fintechs, merchants, acquirers, governments, and other payment ecosystem participants improve growth, profitability, customer engagement, and payment performance through a combination of consulting, data analytics, economics, and implementation support.
As a VCA Intern, you will contribute to initiatives that help internal and external stakeholders achieve strategic objectives. You will have opportunities to take on meaningful responsibilities, expand your skills, and gain exposure to different areas of the business while working with experienced professionals on impactful projects.
All Visa roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Some job duties and projects could include, but are not limited to:
- Engage with VCA team members and other internal partners to support consulting engagements
- Contribute to activities across the consulting lifecycle and leverage AI tools where appropriate
- Assist with business development through market research and proposal preparation
- Support project implementation and help document best practices for global knowledge sharing
- Coordinate logistics and operational activities for the VCA team in Mexico
- Participate in client engagement areas such as portfolio optimization, product design and launch, digital strategy, and transformation
- Prepare materials for internal governance updates and thought leadership initiatives
- Support alignment of the consulting practice with internal processes and operational standards
- Assist with executive communications, including drafting content and managing communication trackers
- Collaborate on deliverables that help maintain high-quality client engagement
