Position Summary: Dee Zee, Inc. is seeking a motivated Environmental & Sustainability Intern to support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives that advance our compliance objectives and ESG goals.
This internship offers hands-on experience with ISO 14001 systems, sustainability reporting, and environmental projects in a real-world manufacturing environment.
Accountabilities: • Assist with maintaining Dee Zee’s ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS). • Support environmental reporting through data collection and documentation.
• Help prepare information for sustainability reporting platforms (e.g., CDP, EcoVadis, MFG 2030). • Contribute to the development of Dee Zee’s Corporate Sustainability Report.
• Participate in cross-functional projects that promote environmental stewardship. • Support internal audits and compliance documentation. • Gain exposure to EHS activities, including inspections and incident investigations, as needed.
Qualifications: • Pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Public Health, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with databases or reporting platforms a plus.
