Why you
A company opened a seat, and something public about you suggested a fit: a profile, a project page, or your school's listing. So UTern sent you one email about that one seat. No reply means you do not hear from us about it again. We never text a number we found.
Nothing went to the company
The company has not seen your name, your email or anything else about you. It sees you only if you say yes to its seat, and then only for that seat.
What UTern holds about you
- Your name, school and headline as the public page showed them, and that page's address.
- Your email address and how we got it: published on a public page, from a licensed data vendor, or matched to your school's address format and checked by an email verification service.
- The seat, and the fact and date of the one email.
If you never answer, this is deleted after 180 days. If you opt out, we keep only a one-way hash of your address so no seat contacts you again. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Stop it, or delete it
To stop all UTern outreach, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. One click, no reason asked.
To delete what UTern holds about you, email contact@utern.ai from the address we wrote to. We delete it and keep only the opt-out hash.
